Drugs, weapon, cash found after South Side chase Tuesday night

YOUNGSTOWN — Police found marijuana, heroin, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, 50 pills, a loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic handgun and $461 cash on a man following a foot and vehicle chase on the South Side Tuesday.

Danny Trayvon Williams, 29, of South Avenue, is in the Mahoning County jail on several charges after he was arrested behind a home in the 300 block of East Avondale Avenue about 5:45 p.m.

Police tried to pull over a car Williams was driving that ran a stop sign, but he refused to pull over then bailed out of the car in the 3000 block of South Avenue.

He was caught after a foot chase.
