Youngstown teachers protest board president's commission choice

YOUNGSTOWN

City school teachers filed into tonight's school board meeting, carrying signs reading, "United for Student Success."

Teachers are upset about board President Brenda Kimble's appointment of a substitute principal to the academic distress commission.

The law states the board president's appointment is to be a teacher.
