Woman faces felonious assault and domestic violence charges

BOARDMAN

A township woman faces felonious assault and domestic violence charges after purportedly attacking a male victim with a steak knife after an argument that reportedly began over a football game.

Jennasa Moore, 24, of Shields Road, was arrested on warrants and taken to the Mahoning County jail Monday night.

The charges stem from an incident reported Sunday, when township police responded to the Shields Road residence for a domestic violence call. The victim told police that an argument started "over him coming home angry because Ohio State had lost," according to a report.

Moore then attacked the victim with a knife she had been using to open a can of ravioli, he said; police reportedly observed injuries to his neck and hand.
