CORTLAND

It took two overtimes, but the Bulldogs downed Struthers led by Annie Pavlansky’s 26 points. Addie Becker also added 19 points and 17 rebounds for Lakeview, while Jensen Silbaugh notched 15 points. For Struthers, Caitlin Kane and Alexis Bury each scored 18 points.

Howland 74, East 31

YOUNGSTOWN

Sara Price led the Tigers (1-1) with 31 points and four rebounds. For the Panthers (0-1), Znayia Brown scored 15 points and made four rebounds.

Poland 67, Niles 17

POLAND

Bella Gajdos notched 17 points and Sarah Buy scored 15 as Poland routed Lakeview. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 26-0 lead after the first quarter. For Niles, Sierra Warden scored six points.

Smith paced Lindsey Hubbard with 18 points, while Marissa Grande added 14 and Logan Nitsche had 10 points. Emily Stoneman notched 14 points for Lakeside.

Ali Ciminero led four Indians in double figures and Girard built a big early lead with a 26-9 first-quarter run to down Liberty. Lorren Alejars added 13 points for the Indians and Makayla Trebella had 12 and Megan Payich finished with 11.
