Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, active exercise at 8 a.m., 30 minutes with God and senior spinning at 9, piloxing, bingo, painting class and quilting at 10, lunch at noon, and Red Hatters and trivia at 12:30 p.m.; Tuesday, active exercise and pilates at 8 a.m., video class on thermodynamics at 9, S.O.S. at 9:30, bingo, quilting and crocheting at 10, line dancing at 10:30, chair yoga at 11:30, lunch/birthday celebration and iPad class at noon and AARP choir at 1 p.m.; Wednesday, closed for preparation and distribution of Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department Thanksgiving dinner to community seniors; Thursday, closed for Thanksgiving holiday; and Friday, closed, but all are welcome to help decorate the center for Christmas. Niles S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 14 E. State St., will offer a one-day art class with a representative from Wonderstruck Art Studio from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 8. No experience is necessary. Participants will paint a winter scene on canvas to take home. Cost is $25, and all supplies will be provided. The center also will offer a podiatry services clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 18, by appointment only, with attending doctor Dr. Thomas Pokabla. Take an insurance card, as regular copays will apply.
