Pet theater show will come to Packard hall
WARREN
The World Famous Popovich Comedy Pet Theater will come to Packard Music Hall on March 19 for a 3 p.m. performance.
Tickets start at $12 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and at the Packard box office, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW.
The star of the show is Gregory Popovich, a fifth-generation Russian circus performer who learned early on how to develop strong bonds with animals. The show has been voted “best family show in Las Vegas” and has appeared on “The Tonight Show” and “Late Night With David Letterman” and was a finalist on “America’s Got Talent.”
The show features a cast of cats, dogs, parrots and even geese and mice. Critics describe it as a unique blend of comedy, juggling, and the extraordinary talents of more than 30 performing pets. Popovich rescued the animals from shelters all over the country and transformed them into stars.
The Packard performance is being presented by the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County and a portion of the proceeds of the show will go toward their fundraising goals. The event is PETA approved.
