Girard armed robbery suspect arrested by city police

GIRARD — A man wanted for an armed robbery at a Girard store this week is now in custody.

David Williams, 23, was arrested Friday afternoon, said city police Capt. John Norman.

Williams was taken into custody in Youngstown. Girard police were looking for Williams in connection with robberies of a Dollar General store and the Highland Dairy earlier this week.
