Police search for man wanted for armed robbery in Girard


GIRARD — Multiple agencies are searching for a man believed to be armed and dangerous.

David Williams, 23, is wanted by Girard Police, the Ohio Adult Parole Authority and the U.S. Marshals Service.

He is suspect in multiple armed robberies, including from Highland Dairy and Dollar General in Girard this week. Authorities believe Williams is hiding somewhere in Trumbull County, possibly in Girard or Niles. Williams is white, with brown hair and brown eyes. He weighs 190 pounds and is about 6-feet-tall.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information about Williams whereabouts, though it has not disclosed the amount of the award. If you have information, call 1-866-4-WANTED or text keyword WANTED and the tip to TIP411 (847411).
