A Vienna man, Jeremy White, 25, died Sunday afternoon from injuries suffered when the motorcycle he was riding was struck by a pickup truck on state Route 193 just south of state Route 82.
The Warren Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that White was traveling north on Route 193 when the truck, driven by Jodi Gallagher, 32, of Girard, pulled onto Route 193 from a private drive the east side of the highway and attempted to turn south when it was struck by the motorcycle.
White, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital Youngstown where he was pronounced dead. Gallagher, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured. Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash, according to the OSHP.
