Jury selection underway in East Side murder case from 2013

YOUNGSTOWN — Jury selection is underway today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for a man accused in a Sept. 28, 2013 murder on the East Side.

Anthony Hopkins, 38, is charged with aggravated murder for the death of Frank James Brown, who was found shot to death on Truesdale Avenue.

Two other people, a husband and wife, have already pleaded guilty for their roles in Brown's death.

Judge Shirley Christian is hearing the case.
