Top-ranked Mount Union won the Ohio Athletic Conference football title outright with the win at No. 14 ranked John Carroll. The Purple Raiders finish the regular season 10-0, 9-0, for the 24th straight and 27th overall conference title. Mount Union extends its regular season win streak to 103 games dating to 2005. Senior quarterback Taurice Scott threw for 276 yards with four touchdowns and accounted for 308 yards of total offense, Logan Nemeth ran for a career-high 185 yards and Jordan Hargrove had six catches for 94 yards with two touchdowns to lead a Raider offense that generated 501 total yards. The nation’s No. 1 rated defense again put on another strong performance as Mount Union held John Carroll (8-2, 7-2) to 168 total yards with six tackles for loss and three sacks. Alex Kocheff and Josh Stewart each had 10 stops while Tom Lally had a sack that gave him the school’s all-time record with 32.5.

NEW WILMINGTON, PA.
Westminster (8-2, 7-1 Presidents Athletic Conference) won its sixth-straight game, tying the most wins in 15 years. The shutout was the first under the regime of second-year head coach Scott Benzel. Geneva dropped to 2-8, 1-7. Sophomore Dominique McKinley ran for a game-high 115 yards off 25 carries, his six 100-yard game this year. Junior Mac Quinn led the defense with a game-high 12 tackles, his sixth time this year to have double-digit tackles. Freshman Miguel Luis and senior Darrin Donikowski added six tackles each. Quinn and junior Gator Phillips each had an interception.
Washington & Jefferson 45, Waynesburg 23

Freshman quarterback Jake Dougherty completed 27 passes for 252 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions for the Yellow Jackets 3-7, 2-6 PAC).

OBERLIN
Hiram (4-6, 4-5 North Coast Athletic Conference) generated another late score for a win in the season finale. The victory was the Terriers’ third come-from-behind win in five weeks. Trailing 21-16 with about two minutes remaining, junior Nic Paolo hit senior Nate Eaton for a 98-yard touchdown strike to give the Terriers the lead. Eaton had seven catches for a career-high 184 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, junior Dan Hernandez registered a career-best 14 tackles, including three for a loss. Senior D.D. Fleetion (Youngstown/East) and junior Brandon Gros each recorded interceptions. Gros also finished with seven tackles and a pass breakup. The Yoemen finish 3-7, 3-6.
Northwood 28, Malone 21

After falling behind 21-0 early in the second quarter, the Pioneers put together a quick five-play, 71-yard drive, getting on the scoreboard with a 31-yard touchdown pass from quarterback John Iacucci to wide receiver Damien Russell. Malone made it 21-14 late in the third quarter on Iacucci’s second touchdown pass of the game, this one a 5-yard strike to wide receiver Eian Elsass. Late in the game, Iacucci capped off the drive with a 12-yard touchdown pass to tight end Camden Baucke to cut the Northwood lead to 28-21.
Ferris State 38, Walsh 7
BIG RAPIDS, MICH.
Any hopes of playing the role of spoiler ended early for Walsh (2-8) as No. 2 Ferris State (10-0) jumped out to a 28-0 lead. Walsh’s score came on a big play as Kalvin Gordon rushed to the right side for a 43-yard run at the 7:49 mark of the third quarter. Michael Dudics kicked the PAT. Gordon finished with 57 yards on 11 carries. Defensively, Walsh was led by Trevor Smith with 14 tackles and a forced fumble. That fumble occurred in the second quarter and was recovered by O’Shea Heard inside the five yard line to prevent another Bulldogs score.
