YOUNGSTOWN — North Dakota State rallied for 17 points in the fourth quarter and beat Youngstown State, 27-24, on Saturday.

The Penguins led 24-10 after three quarters, but were unable to hold on against the Bison, the four-time FCS national champions.

NDSU benefited from a questionable pass interference call in the final minute, setting up quarterback Easton Stick's go-ahead 4-yard touchdown run with 35 seconds left.

YSU coach Bo Pelini was slapped with two unsportsmanlike penalties in the game's closing moments. The Penalties and a sack of quarterback Hunter Wells sent the Penguins backward from their own 30-yard line to the 4 and YSU was never able to get into field goal range at the end.
