The 15th annual Special Needs Winterfest Dance will take place from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Mahoning Country Club.

The dance is open to all high-school-age students with special needs in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.

The Snow Prince and Snow Princess will be crowned toward the end of the dance, and a drawing will take place for the dance court with names selected randomly from each school’s tickets.

There is no cost for the dance, but RSVPs are required to let the country club know how much food to prepare.

Call Jeanne Constantino at East High School in Youngstown at 330-740-4005, ext. 4143, fax to 330-742-6464, or email her at or to RSVP.

A photographer will be at the dance to take pictures, and Santa and his elves and Mrs. Claus also will make an appearance.

Parents will be welcome only between 4:30 and 5 p.m. and between 8:15 and 8:30 p.m. to allow students the opportunity to interact with students from other school districts.
