Softball Shopping Blitz to be Dec. 18-20

The Canfield High School softball NYC Holiday Shopping Blitz will be Dec. 18-20. The cost is $159 per person (Luxury Motot Coach). Reserve your seats now by calling 330-207-7868, dropping in to the Canfield Athletic Office to pay or mailing your form and payment to P.O. Box 432, Canfield, OH 44406. The deadline for funds is Nov. 18. This event is sponsored byt the Canfield High School Softball Boosters.

Canfield hosts boys basketball tournament

The Canfield Cardinals are hosting a fifth- and sixth-grade boys basketball tournament on Dec. 5 and 6, and Dec. 12 and 13 at the Canfield Village Middle School.

The tournament is limited to twelve teams per grade level and teams must be school affiliated. The tournament is $125 with a four game guarantee. Contact Judd Rubin through e-mail at judd1310@gmail.com for a registration packet or questions.

Hall of Fame nominations being accepted

Canfield High School is now actively seeking nominations for selection to its athletic Hall Of Fame in a ceremony set to take place early next year. For more information and/or nomination forms, contact the Canfield Athletic Department at 330-533-5341 or email gcooper@canfieldschools.net.

Winter sports have begun and Neighbors wants to be there every step of the way. If you’re a sports coach or the parent of an athlete, we need your help. In order to get teams and players the recognition they deserve, we want to showcase them in our pages. We can only do that if you commit to sending us game reports and photos each week. If you send it, it will get in.
