Mayor names a former YSU dean to city academic distress commission

YOUNGSTOWN — Mayor John A. McNally has appointed Barbara Brothers, former dean of the Youngstown State University’s College of Arts and Sciences, to the city schools academic distress commission.

The commission will pick a chief executive officer to run the city schools.
