High winds knock out power in portions of Mahoning, Trumbull counties

YOUNGSTOWN – Inclement weather left about 35 customers without power in Mahoning County, according to FirstEnergy. Affected areas include Poland, Springfield, and Ellsworth townships and some in Youngstown. Power is expected to be restored by 11 p.m. today and the outages account for less than one percent of customers, according to FirstEnergy.

FirstEnergy has also noted 23 customers without power in some portions of Trumbull County.
