Police responded to the area of Tenney Avenue and Regent Street in reference to a man screaming in the street.

Upon arrival, police noticed a vehicle, with flashers on, facing eastbound on Tenney.

Kostantas rammed the front end of a police cruiser, according to a police report. He then got out of the vehicle and fled on foot until he was arrested. Kostantas was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital to be treated for injuries. He later was transported to Campbell Municipal Court for his arraignment.

Teens facing charges

BOARDMAN

Two Boardman teenagers face one count each of robbery, a felony of the second degree, after they were arrested Thursday.

Brandon Wallace and Tyrese Fish, both 16 and of Eisenhower Drive, were arrested in an April 30 incident in which police say Fish and Wallace assaulted a 15-year-old victim at Buckeye Wireless on Market Street and stole a belt from him.

The victim told police at the time he knows the suspects from school and had been in contact with them about selling the Gucci belt, valued at $85.

Part of the incident was caught on camera. Fish and Wallace were taken to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center. A court date has not been set.
