Guest speaker

Gospel Temple Baptist Church, 279 Whipple Ave., will host guest speaker Dr. Deborah Graham, a professor at Youngstown State University, at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Drive-in services
ANDOVER
First United Methodist Church of Andover continues the tradition of summer drive-in outdoor services at Wildwood Acres Campground, intersection of state Route 7 and Marvin Road, about two miles south of Andover. Signs are posted.
The services, sponsored by the church for more than 50 years, will take place at 9:30 a.m. Sundays, May 24 through Sept. 6. Special musical services will take place Aug. 16 and 23 with Dan Schall and Sound Witness.
Participants may attend the services in their cars or bring chairs. Some seating is provided.

Christian Associates of Shenango Valley donated proceeds of the Spring Hunger Walk to two local agencies at the annual dinner and election meeting at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
George Takash, president, presented checks to Arlene Horkey, director of Shenango Valley Meals On Wheels, and Carolyn Harris, representative of Prince Of Peace Center. The checks each were in the amount of $1,325.25.
