Wednesday, March 25, 2015

YOUNGSTOWN — A Liberty man who pleaded guilty in February to inserting his bodily fluids into his boss' soup was sentenced to five years probation in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court today, including six months in the Mahoning County jail.

John Cutlip, 28, was sentenced by Judge Maureen Sweeney on charges on telecommunications harassment, a first degree misdemeanor and criminal mischief, a fifth degree felony.

Police in Struthers investigated the case, because that is where the business Cutlip worked at was located. Cutlip was indicted in June.

Police said the boss did consume the soup.

The victim was not present in court.
