Munnell Run Farm and the Mercer County Conservation District will host “Refreshing Furniture: Chalk Paint 101” with Mitzi Dales, from 5:45 to 8:45 p.m. April 1 at the farm, 753 Greenville Road.
Dales is owner of “No Place Like Home” in Greenville. During the program, she will introduce PURE Earth Chalk Paints to participants and teach techniques on using them. No art experience is required. All paint materials will be provided as well as instruction.
Each participant is responsible for bringing his or her own medium-sized project for the class. Suggestions are a chair, chest, picture frames or an end table.
Participants also are asked to inform organizers about the color they would like for their projects. Color choices are available to view online by visiting www.homegoodsconsignment.com and clicking on “store.”
