A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

March 13

Identity theft: A report of identity theft was made by a person living in a home on Blueberry Hill.

AUSTINTOWN

March 9

Theft: Parts were taken from a roof air-conditioning unit at the Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Michele Montmore, 42, of Highlawn Avenue, Youngstown, for a theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted text messages were reported at a home in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Identity theft: A federal and state income-tax return was filed with the Internal Revenue Service on behalf of a person in the 100 block of Country Green Drive who had not filed a return.

Drug offense: Police arrested David Gigliotti , 51, of Deer Creek Road, West Middlesex, Pa., on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and Gary Pirrung, 46, of Townson Drive, Warren, on a charge of possession of marijuana. The arrests were made at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave

Lost or stolen property: An Ohio driver’s license and a Social Security card were lost or stolen from a home in the 60 block of Country Green.

March 10

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Tomeka Toney, 25, of Kendis Circle, Youngstown, for possession of marijuana and on a warrant for failure to appear in court on traffic charges.

Theft: Loose tobacco was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Fraud: A hotel owner paid a bogus water bill of $774.34 at Super 8 Motel, 5280 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Copper was stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Theft: A purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked at Bill’s Place.

Fraud: Federal and state taxes were claimed for a person living in a home in the 2000 block of Woodgate Street.

Warrant: Police arrested Tessie Molnar, 42, no address listed, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on an open-container charge.

Theft: A purse was stolen at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Identity theft: A fraudulent federal tax return was submitted using a resident’s name who lives in the 4000 block of East Webb Road.

Criminal mischief: Rock salt was poured on a vehicle at a home in the 5000 block of Callaway Circle.

Obstructing official business: A person gave police false information during an investigation at Kirk and South Raccoon roads.

Menacing: A male threatened a juvenile female at a home in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal mischief: An employee removed tags on items at Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Cigarettes were stolen at BP Fast Trac, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

March 11

Theft: A resident in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court had his debit card stolen.

Criminal damaging: A glass door was damaged at the Regency House, 3704 Mahoning Ave.

Identity theft: A fradulent federal income-tax return was filed involving a person living at a home in the 400 block of Wyndclifft Place.

Vandalism: A semi-truck tire was damaged at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: Two cases of unwanted emails were reported at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

March 12

Fraud: A person living at a home in the 2000 block of Innwood Drive reported a credit card was used without authorization.

Aggravated burglary: A suspect entered an apartment and injured a male at a home in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.

March 13

Theft: Occupants of a gold vehicle stole condoms from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a Home Savings and Loan Co. account of a person living in a home in the 4000 block of Shadow Oak Drive.

Theft: Packages were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Theft: A 2012 golf cart was stolen from Greenwood Hummer, 4665 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A pressure washer was stolen from a vehicle parked at Harbor Freight, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

March 14

Theft: A wallet was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: Ohio temporary tags were stolen from an auto parked at Hollywood Gaming, 777 Hollywood Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Richard Massaro, 53, of Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road, on a warrant charging him with stealing $200 worth of clothing from another tenant.

Warrant: Police arrested Lennie McGeachy, 21, of Woodhurst Boulevard, on a warrant for burglary and theft.

Warrant: Police arrested Robert Marino, 40, of Kirk Road, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to John Hall, 56, of South Meridian Road, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Theft: An iPad mini was stolen at the Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave.

March 15

Disorderly conduct: Police arrested Joshua Diamantes, 26, of Philadelphia Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of disorderly conduct at Rodeo Music Hall, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A male suspect cut the lock on a soap-vending machine at Wedgewood Coin, 4286 New Road.
