YOUNGSTOWN — Police found more than $1,100 cash and a small amount of heroin and crack cocaine after a traffic stop just after 6 p.m. Wednesday at Hillman Street and West Hylda Avenue on the South Side.

Reports said a car driven by Tyreese Perry, 20, was pulled over for driving on the wrong side of the road. Perry was acting very nervous right away and would not spread his feet to be searched, reports said. There was also the smell of burnt marijuana coming from his car, reports said.

Police searched the car and found a dose of heroin in the console, reports said. The cash was found in one of Perry's pockets, reports said.

Perry was arrested on a possession of heroin charge and taken to the Mahoning County jail.

While at the jail corrections officers found a bag of crack cocaine in his underwear, reports said. He faces additional charges of possession of crack cocaine and illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility.
