Nurse-assistant training Tuesday

The American Red Cross of the Mahoning Valley, 3530 Belmont Ave., Suite 7, is offering a Red Cross nurse-assistant training orientation and information session at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Scholarships are available for those who qualify. Participants should bring a photo ID and a blue or black pen. There is no late admittance, and no children will be permitted.

YSU STEM college earns high rating
YOUNGSTOWN
Youngstown State University’s College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics has been designated a 2015 STEM Jobs Approved College.
The list measures how effectively schools align their programs to high-demand, high-paying STEM jobs and how well they assist students in achieving career aspirations in STEM fields.
YSU STEM and other schools on the list are featured in the Winter 2015 issue of STEM Jobs magazine.
