UPDATE | Jury find Dawson guilty of murder

YOUNGSTOWN — Jurors in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court today found Larry Dawson, 26, guilty of murder and child endangerment for the December, 2012, death of his son, Rayvon Stewart, 15 months.

Jurors began deliberating about 11:30 a.m. Friday after hearing closing arguments before Judge Shirley J. Christian and were sent home about 5 p.m. after failing to reach a verdict.

They returned about 8:30 a.m. today and reached their verdict about 9:35 a.m.
