Campbell police file drug charges after traffic stop


CAMPBELL — A traffic stop at 3rd Street and Wilson Avenue on Friday evening resulted in charges for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Police stopped a vehicle for to objects hanging from the rear view mirror, a police report states.

According to the report, the officers then conducted a search and found that the driver, Saqoyia Harris, 24, of Youngstown possessed 1.8 grams of suspected marijuana and a suspected marijuana pipe in her purse. Police also searched the purse of the passenger, 22-year old Cashawn Lavette Craig of Youngstown, and found 1.3 grams of suspected marijuana, the report states.

Both arrestees were released from the scene and issued a summons to appear in Campbell Municipal Court at 9 a.m. on Friday.
