Winona Strawberry Festival still set for Sunday

WINONA — The Winona Strawberry Festival scheduled for Sunday will be take place rain, shine or flood.

The 10 a.m. community church service has been moved inside the Winona Friends Church (instead of on the lawn) at 4615 Whinnery Road.

Should conditions at the Glenn Bennett Memorial Playground on Winona Road make that area unusable, starting at 11 a.m., the food sales, , entertainment, book signing and 1:30 p.m. Kiko auction will be moved to the Friends Church Family Life Center at the Whinnery Road address.

The 1838 Meeting House Restoration Project and antique toys display and the 1895 Meeting House will be open on Winona Road.
