Reckless driving leads to drug and gun charges

CAMPBELL

Police arrested Zachariah McFall, 23, of Middlesex, Pa. on Tuesday on charges of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs and having weapons while under disability.

Officer Robert Vukovich stopped a green Toyota near Woodland Avenue for reckless driving and detected an odor of marijuana coming from the driver's side window, a police report states.

The report states that McFall, the car's driver, confessed to having two Oxycodone pills (30 mg total) in his wallet. Oxycodone is a schedule II drug.

The officer reported finding a suspected marijuana cigarette and 7.4 grams of suspected marijuana in a baggie. The report also states that the officer found a rifle in the vehicle.

McFall said that the suspected drugs belonged to him and that his friend had left the rifle in the car. Police released the car's one passenger, after the passenger said he had no knowledge of the gun and that the marijuana belonged to McFall.

McFall will be held without bail at the Mahoning County Justice Center until his arraignment at Campbell Municipal Court Friday at 9 a.m.
