Healthy Kids Day set June 27 at church

MINERAL RIDGE

First Presbyterian Church, 3654 Main St., will sponsor a free Healthy Kids Day from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 27 in the church parking lot for children in sixth grade and younger.

There will be fun activities and giveaways.

Children will receive a small bag of groceries, free toothbrush, a healthy snack, face painting, learn First Aid tips, blood pressure screening, exercise obstacle course, practice good hand washing techniques, bounce in a Bounce Around, put on sunblock, take home a balloon animal, check out an ambulance, talk to a fireman and see the fire engine, learn how to identify pills versus candy, view a Lego story on an Ipad and take a picture in a special veggie display.
