Samantha Streb, Preston Cockrell are engaged

Announcing their engagement are Samantha Streb and Preston Cockrell, both of Austintown.

Miss Streb is the daughter of Eric Streb of Ellenton, Fla., and the late Judy Streb. The parents of the future groom are Steve and Tara Cockrell of Canfield.

St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park has been chosen for the couple’s wedding, to take place at 1:30 p.m. July 18. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and for a reception to follow later that afternoon at Mill Creek MetroParks in Youngstown.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling from Youngstown State University. She is employed as financial aid administrator with Casal Aveda Institute in Austintown.

Mr. Cockrell holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from YSU, where he also is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information technology. He is employed as a network administrator with Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley in Austintown.
