Youngstown police investigate gunfire on the South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — A police spokesman said no one was injured after several shots were fired about 3:30 p.m. today in the 500 block of Cameron Avenue on the South Side.

The spokesman said two groups of people were shooting at each other and a house was damaged by gunfire but there were no injuries.

Officers collected several empty shell casings from the pavement in the street, the spokesman said.
