BOARDMAN — A woman faces an impaired driving charge after township police reportedly found her slumped over at the wheel of her car at a gas pump.

Katherine Cerimele, 31, of Erskine Avenue, is charged with operating a vehicle while impaired after she was arrested at BP gas station, 1090 Boardman-Poland Road, early Wednesday.

After failing a field sobriety test and agreeing to take a urine test, Cerimele reportedly admitted to police that she took Xanax earlier on Tuesday.

She was released on a summons and is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
