Lima man faces drug charges after Boardman traffic stop

BOARDMAN — A Lima man faces felony drug charges after a traffic stop in the township.

Brian Cunningham, 27, is charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs and drug possession.

Cunningham was the passenger in a vehicle that was stopped early Sunday. Police reportedly found pills and marijuana on him and in the vehicle, which he reportedly admitted were his.

The driver was not arrested. Cunningham was taken to the Mahoning County jail and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
