SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The second annual Betty’s Angels Golf Outing will take place at 10 a.m. Aug. 1 at Candywood Golf Course, 765 Scoville North Road, Vienna. It will be a four person scramble, shot gun start. The cost is $75 per golfer and includes golf, cart, breakfast, lunch, dinner, beverages and prizes. Hole sponsorship is $100. Betty’s Angels is an emergency 24-hour shelter providing advocacy, education and support services to reach out to the youngest victims of homelessness, sexual abuse, drug addiction and neglect.
