YOUNGSTOWN — A jury in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court found Matthew Cochrane, 26, of West Hylda Avenue, not guilty of the murder of 20-year-old Dajhon Neely of Liberty in March 2014.
Jurors before Judge Maureen Sweeney also found Cochrane not guilty of two counts of felonious assault for shooting at two other people in the car.
The verdict was rendered about 4 p.m. today. Testimony in the case began Wednesday and wrapped up Friday morning.
