Hubbard man gets prison term on domestic-violence charge

WARREN — Amato Zaccone, 55, of Hubbard, will serve one year in prison on a domestic-violence charge.

Zaccone entered his guilty plea Tuesday before Judge Andrew Logan of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Police said Zaccone held his ex-girlfriend hostage for two days in her Jacobs Road apartment in Hubbard in December 2014. She told police he beat her and held a knife to her throat.
