AUSTINTOWN — A female cow weighing about 1,800 pounds was stolen from a township property this month.
According to a police report filed Monday, a fence on the property of an Omalia Drive residence was cut where a homeowner believed someone lured his cow out of the yard.
The cow was taken sometime between July 11 and July 12 and the homeowner called Austintown police dispatch at 9:19 p.m. July 14 on the issue. The case was forwarded to the detective division.
