Country group The Band Perry is coming to the Canfield Fair

The Canfield Fair, Ohio’s largest county fair, is known for featuring the biggest and brightest stars in today’s country music as part of its Grandstand entertainment.

This year’s featured country attraction is a blockbuster: Grammy and CMA Award-winning artists The Band Perry will perform at the Fair on Sept. 3 at 8 p.m.

Consisting of siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry, The Band Perry has notched seven Top 10 hits on the Billboard country charts, including three #1s: “If I Die Young,” “All Your Life” and “Better Dig Two.” “If I Die Young” was certified Quadruple Platinum. Their debut album, The Band Perry, reached #2 on the album charts and was certified Platinum, while their follow-up LP, Pioneer, was #1 and certified Gold.

The opening act for The Band Perry will be Caroline Kole, who for the past two years has opened for Reba McEntire as part of her international tour. The video for Kole’s song “Money to Me” reached the #1 spot on the Country Music Television Pure Countdown, while the video for her second release, “If He’d Ever Look Up,” stayed at #1 on CMT Pure for several weeks. CMT also named Kole a “Listen Up” artist. She has also opened shows for artists such as Blake Shelton, Alan Jackson, Eric Church and Martina McBride.

Tickets for the Band Perry show – as well as all other Grandstand attractions for the 2015 Canfield Fair – went on sale on June 15 at 9 a.m. They are available through the Canfield Fair website, www.CanfieldFair.com, or in person at the Canfield Fair Administration Building on the Fairgrounds Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
