BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating a case of felony theft and vandalism after someone did more than $50,000 worth of damage to rooftop heating and air-conditioning units at businesses at the Boardman Plaza on Boardman-Canfield Road.
A property manager for the plaza reported to police Wednesday that four HVAC units were vandalized and that copper pipe and coil condensers were missing from them.
The units belong to two different businesses in the plaza. The total damage is estimated at $51,000.
