BOARDMAN — A 15-year-old boy faces a felony robbery charge after police said he shoplifted from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road, and then pushed an employee.

The suspect, of Youngstown, was arrested Tuesday and taken to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center in Youngstown.

A store employee told police the suspect grabbed clothes off the shelves and concealed them in a backpack.

The employee then confronted him when he left a restroom, she said, and he then pushed her out of the way and threw her to the ground.

The suspect fled, and police caught up with him and two other people he was with outside another area business. The employee then identified the teen as the suspect, police said.
