Reports say a firebomb that failed to ignite was found inside a home in the 3500 block of De Soto Avenue early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the home about 1:20 a.m. to assist police and when they arrived they found a strong odor of gasoline in the back yard. In a room inside the home, there was a broken window and a broken bottle and a scorched rag. Reports said there were four children and their mother inside the home.
Behind the garage firefighters found two bottle caps and a lighter. The bottle, bottle caps, rag and lighter were taken to be tested for evidence.
