C. Sam and Debbie Grate of Columbiana are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Grate, also of Columbiana, and Dominic Williams of North Lima.
His parents are Angela Gallagher of North Lima and Robert Williams of East Liverpool.
The couple’s open wedding will take place at 1:30 p.m. May 23 at New Life Church in Poland, where a reception by invitation will follow.
The bride-elect attends Youngstown State University, where she studies for a degree in social work. She is a client-care coordinator for Meridian Community Care in Youngstown.
The future groom studies engineering at YSU and is employed at Das Dutch Haus.
