Man pleads not guilty to killing 3 men at Ohio barbershop

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio (AP) — A 20-year-old man from the Cleveland area has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder charges in the deadly shooting of three people at barbershop in early February.

A judge in Cuyahoga County also raised the bond for Douglas Shine Jr. to $5 million today.

Shine was in court for the first time since being indicted in the Feb. 5 shooting at Chalk Linez barbershop in Warrensville Heights.

He’s accused of killing the barbershop’s 32-year-old owner and two of the man’s friends. Three other people were shot and injured.

Officials haven’t commented yet about a possible motive.

Shine was released from prison in December after serving two years for robbery and weapons charges.
