CANTON
Andrew Armstrong led Cardinal Mooney (3-0) with a double double of 21 points and 13 rebounds. Terell Thomas added 15 points and Nick Koken had 11 points and six assists. Canton South’s Malik Campbell scored 27 points.
Ursuline 69, New Day Academy 35
YOUNGSTOWN
Ursuline (4-2) cruised after buliding a 42-18 halftime lead. Armon Naserri led the Irish with 19 points and Greg Parella and Anthony Howell each scored 16 points. D.J. Haggins led New Day Academy (6-2) with seven points.
Western Reserve 46, Lordstown 29
LORDSTOWN
Cody Hilles scored 21 points and Jack Cappabianca added 10 for Reserve (3-3). Dakota Bingham led Lordstown with 12 points.

Mathews 72, Windham 50
VIENNA
All five of Mathews’ (3-1) starters finished in double figures. Clay O’Dell led the team with 21 points, Bryan Oatridge made five threes in a 17 point performance, Chris McVicker added 12 points and Sean McDevitt and Kenny Wallace each had 10 points. Eric Park led Windham (1-3) with 14 points, Ron McLean and Floyd Shackleford both put up 10 points each.

McDonald 59, Girard 52
MCDONALD
Sara Joseph reached 1,000 points for her career as the Blue Devils’ senior scored 28 points. Sierra Welch added 13 and Sam Homa scored 11 points for McDonald (8-1). Makayla Trebella led Girard with 17 points and Megan Payich wasn’t far behind with 15 points.
Boardman 68, Edgewood 27
ASHTABULA
The Spartans (5-3) held Edgewood (0-8) to single digits in each quarter. Krista Johnson led Boardman with 17 points and Franchesca Cardillo contributed 10 points. Shayla Ramos had a team-high eight points for Edgewood.
Warren Harding 66, Hubbard 30
WARREN
Shamara Dykes led all scorers with 24 points as Warren Harding routed Hubbard. Logan Nitsche paced the Eagles with 10 points.
Canfield 48, Struthers 45
STRUTHERS
Canfield used a 14-6 fourth-quarter advantage to come back and beat Struthers. Brittany Coonce paced the Cardinals with 17 points, while Ashley Kaleel, Jill Baker and Alexandra Stanic all scored nine points apiece. For Struthers, Michelle Buser scored 14 points, Kahylah Brown had 13 points and Caitlin Kane added 12.
Columbiana 43, Cardinal Mooney 34
COLUMBIANA
Elise Hammond scored a game-high 15 points for Columbiana as it edged Mooney with a 13-4 fourth quarter. Taylor Martin led the Cardinals with 10 points.
Lakeview 56, Austintown Fitch 55
AUSTINTOWN
With the game tied up with 10 seconds left to play, Lakeview’s Annie Pavlansky drove the length of the court, only to have the would-be game-winning shot blocked. Luckily, she recovered her own rebound and was fouled on the put-back attempt with less than a second left to play. Pavlansky made the go-ahead free throw, then intentionally missed the second to let the clock run out. Pavlansky finished the game with 18 points and Addie Becker led the Bulldogs (9-1, 6-0 All-American Conference White) with 20 points. For Fitch (3-4), Sarah Obradovich led the Falcons with 19 points and Sabria Hunter added 13 points.
Valley Christian 59, St. Thomas Aquinas 52
LOUISVILLE
India Snyder scored a game-high 27 points for Valley Christian as the Eagles downed St. Thomas Aquinas, keyed by a 22-8 first quarter. Imane Snyder also scored 10 points for Valley Christian, as did Arlivian Cheirs.
West Branch 49, Marlington 44
BELOIT
Brenna Rito scored 13 points and Catie Hahn added 12 as West Branch (4-6, 1-4) maintained a slim lead throughout the contest. Robin Campbell led Marlington (3-5, 2-3) 13 points while Morgan Penird put up 12.
