HUBBARD — Hubbard Township will not sponsor a Christmas tree recycling program in 2016 due to the discontinuance of grants from the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District, the township said.
“Citizens are encouraged to find other ways to recycle the trees in a safe and pollution-free method,” according to a news release by Trustee Fred Hanley. “This is just another example of the state of Ohio’s cuts to local governments that impact us all.”
