Ask the Expert
When: Sept. 2-7, noon-5 p.m.
What: Join the OSU Extension office, master gardeners and volunteer naturalists for sessions all afternoon each day at the Canfield Fair. From hydrangeas to soils and nature to honeybees, we’ll have lots for you to learn about during the fair.

Family Fun Fridays

WILD SUBURBIA PROJECT
When: Sept. 13, 2-3:30 p.m.
What: Learn about the Nature Center’s citizen science project to collect wildlife sightings. The Wild Suburbia Project aims to better understand where and how certain species of wildlife live in proximity to human population centers and each other. The presentation will be a combination of background information on fox, coyote, bear and bobcat, in addition to how to participate in the project and how to coexist with local wildlife.
