2013 Greatest Golfer champ Jonah Karzmer is looking to gain his title back.

The Lake Club champion fired a 69 in the Open division to be low player after one round at Mill Creek Golf Course.

Trailing him is 2010 Open champ Mike Porter of Tippecanoe Country Club with a 70.

Porter's brother, Scott, is in 3rd with a 71.

2014 champ Matt Gurska is a few shots off the lead.

2014 ladies champ Katie Rogner has a 1-on-1 battle all weekend with Ariel Witmer, who has a 5-shot lead.

Joe Scarsella fired the day's other sub-par round — with a 67 in the SuperSeniors division.
