City woman arrested after breaking into home and biting, attacking man


YOUNGSTOWN — A woman was arrested for forcing her way into an East Lucius Avenue home about 8:45 a.m. Monday and scratching and biting a man.

Reports said a woman, later identified as Meraiz Dejesus Miranda, 35, threw a roller skate through a window to get inside, chased a man into an upstairs him, bit and scratched him and threatened to kill him, reports said.

Miranda was arrested on charges of domestic violence, assault and aggravated burglary and was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
