YOUNGSTOWN — A 53-year-old old woman was arrested on three counts of felonious assault after reports said she injured three women with a beer bottle during a bar brawl about 2 a.m. Saturday at a South Avenue bar.

Reports said 30 people were fighting when officers arrived and one person was accidentally shot with an electronic stun gun as officers tried to break up the fight, reports said.

A woman told police she was trying to break up the fight when another woman later identified as Thelma Banks, 53, hit her over the head with a beer bottle.

Another man told police Banks stabbed her in the arm and a woman said Banks stabbed her in the arm.

Banks was taken to the Mahoning County jail. Two of the victims were taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
