NORTH LIMA
“A Night of Inspirational Music” will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market St., with local musician Sue Deutschlander. A free-will offering will be taken.
Male chorus event
CAMPBELL
The male chorus of Shiloh Baptist Church, 238 Bright Ave., will host its male chorus musical at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Community African Methodist Episcopal Church Male Chorus of Cleveland and Valley male choirs will participate. Al Smith is chorus president, and the Rev. Ricky Tigner is pastor.
Spring banquet
HERMITAGE, PA.
Crossing Paths, Don Reed Ministries, plans its spring banquet at 6:30 p.m. May 8 at the Brentford House in Hubbard.
Speaker will be Scott Mendes of Fort Worth, Texas, world championship bull rider for 16 years, who is involved with ministries.
This event is free and open to the public. Reservations are required; call 724-981-7777 or 724-342-9632. A dinner buffet is planned. Sponsors are needed to help defray expenses; sponsorships are $100 for a table of eight.
Heart and Soul Tour

Struthers Parkside Church, 110 Poland Ave., will host the Heart and Soul Tour featuring Marvin Mumford, presented by World Hope, in a concert today. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show at 7.

Pastor Mike Guarnieri from The Father’s House in Norton, Ohio, will be guest speaker when Youngstown Chapter of Igniting New Life Ministries, an interdenominational ministry, meets May 4 at the Elton Beard Family Cabin in Boardman Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road. Fellowship will begin at 6:30 p.m., with ministry at 7.

Dr. Victor Wan-Tatah will be guest speaker during the worship service at 11 a.m. May 3 at Butler Memorial Presbyterian Church, 126 E. Rayen Ave. He is a professor of philosophy and religious studies at Youngstown State University and director of the Africana Studies Program. A congregational meeting will follow.
Installation service

Pilgrim Baptist Church, 67 McClure Ave., will install the Rev. Mahdi Wade as pastor during a service at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Those planning to attend should note the time change from a previous announcement.
Installation speaker will be the Rev. Ernest Brown, pastor of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, Ohio. His choirs and congregation will accompany him.
Minister Bruce Murphy of Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland will be guest speaker at the 11 a.m. worship service that day.
Faith walkathon

Union Baptist Church and the Eastern Ohio Baptist Association Churches will sponsor the second annual 5K Faith Walk Walkathon at 9 a.m. May 30 at Wick Park Pavilion, 260 Park Ave., with registration at 8:30. Participants may send email to srlovela@cc.ysu.edu to receive a registration/donor form, or contact Union Baptist Church at 330-746-1217.
Registration is $10. Donations are tax-deductible; make checks payable to OBSC Scholarship Fund. All donations are due at the event. Proceeds will benefit EOBAC youth participation in the Congress of Christian Education.
