Youngstown man arrested on drug charges

YOUNGSTOWN — Orlando Soto, 30, of Parkview Avenue, was taken to the Mahoning County jail about 6:35 p.m. Tuesday on charges of possession of drugs/cocaine and driving under suspension after a car he was driving was pulled over at East Florida Avenue and Southern Boulevard for making an improper turn.

Police found two bags of suspected cocaine in his pants pocket, reports said.

Soto had his 3-year-old son in the car with him, reports said. The child was released to a family member on the scene, reports said.
